I buy vintage saxophones outright and take trade-ins against anything in stock. Condition matters far less than you think — a horn that has not been touched in decades is exactly what I am after.
Start here →Fill in the form with the make, model and serial number, and I'll come back to you with some photo requests dependant what you have, usually the bell, keywork, neck and the case.
Usually within two working days: an outright offer, a trade-in value, or an honest word if it is worth more to you restored than sold.
I will arrange collection, or you drop it into the workshop by appointment and we look at it together.
Once the horn matches the photos, payment goes out by bank transfer the same day it is checked over.
Pre-1970 American and French horns, some stencils. Alto's tenors, sopranos, baritones of any age, and job lots from estates. Although I'll still take a look at anything else.
Dents, seized keys, missing pads, green brass, no case. Please do not polish, oil or attempt a repair before sending photos.
Send photos of the bell engraving and the serial number and I will identify it for you, whether or not you sell.
